The Halton Hurricanes Minor Hockey Alliance (HHMA) was formed in 1991. As part of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA), the world's largest amateur hockey organization, the HHMA strives to provide the highest level of minor hockey available to players in the Halton Region and the surrounding area. In cooperation with local minor hockey organizations in Orangeville, Erin-Hillsburgh, Georgetown, Acton and Milton, the Hurricanes furnish players with minor hockey opportunities at the 'AAA' level. Many players have used their Hurricanes experience to gain post secondary school scholarships, join teams at the Junior hockey level or to return to the organization as coaching staff members.
Hurricanes home games and practices are held at several venues: * The Powerade Centre in Brampton, Ontario * Thompson Arena in Milton, Ontario * John Tonelli Arena in Milton, Ontario * The Milton Sports Complex in Milton, Ontario * Mold-Master SportsPlex in Georgetown, Ontario |
