U14 Champs November 2023 Kitchener Blueline Tournament
Congratulations to the U14 Halton Hurricanes for winning the Kitchener Blueline tournament this weekend.
With a 1– 1–1 record entering the final game of the round robin, the Canes pulled out a must win victory over the 16th ranked team in ontario the Toronto Young Nats, securing a spot in the semifinals. Improving steadily throughout the tournament, they battled hard against the Lambton Sting earning a 4-2 victory to reach the finals against the Waterloo Wolves. Halton started strong, scoring twice in the first 90 seconds. With a complete team effort, they were able to hold off Waterloo on the way to a commanding 5–0 victory. Congratulations to Gage Churcher for winning the Jason Cripps Sportsmanship award and to Jonah Gingrich for earning MVP.Coach Dave Broll is super proud of his team.
